A victim of drowning can be unconscious, not breathing, possibly have no heartbeat, and could experience |shock|. Immediately call for help. If the victim is not breathing, begin |mouth|-to-mouth breathing. If there is no pulse, begin CPR if you are trained to do so. Elevate the feet and cover with a blanket to keep warm.
